Whenever we have occasion to celebrate, it’s natural (possibly even instinctual) to head to your favourite pub.

Whether you’re celebrating a big birthday, having that epic family reunion (you always said you would) or simply gathering your much-loved ones for an special supper, our beautiful country pub is spot-on for any toast-able occasion.

In addition to our perfect-for-a-pint pub (which is glorious for a Sunday roast too) we have more than a handful of fantastic bookable spaces – from bright and spacious, to cosy and intimate.

With 18 bedrooms just above the pub, your guests can fall into bed, rest their weary heads and enjoy a beautifully cooked breakfast to set them back up in the morning.

Fantastic Pub

This is a lovely place to stay. The room was excellent, much bigger than normal for a country pub, also very clean and well cared for. Dinner was very good, although a little pricey. Breakfast was absolutely excellent. Although we had the standard full English it was obviously cooked to order being very hot, with lovely toast – I have eaten hundreds of such breakfasts but this will be remembered for a long time. Staff were very obliging and friendly. An excellent experience

Lovely Stay

Stayed for one night and had an excellent stay. The room was very comfortable and clean.

The bar and service was very good as was the beer.

The evening meal in the restaurant couldn’t be faulted the same for the breakfast.

Birthday meal and night away

Well The Lamb was everything I had hoped for a surprise for my husband. On checking in the staff were welcoming and very helpful. Our room was amazing and very clean. Was converted from a barn so had so much character, my husband loved it, also it being an old 12th century inn.

We had a roast the first evening, which was so good, so tasty and was all home cooked by the taste.

We will be coming back here in the hols when we visit Longleat again. Thank you

Accommodation and meals

We stayed at the Lamb Inn for 3 nights, price included breakfast. We are all our dinners there and enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. The food was excellent, staff were very very helpful. Thanks Lamb Inn loved it!
