Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Hindon?

As locals we love Hindon, and we just know you will too. We think a stay of two nights is pretty perfect. A little less? You’ll have a great time (we promise), but there’s just so much to see and do in Hindon that you’ll wish you had an extra night with us. Staying for longer? We’ll give you all the hints and tips to make sure Hindon props the top of your countryside getaway list, time and time again.

What are the best things to do in Hindon?

There’s so much. Honestly, so much. There’s those tourist-y must-do’s, like a trip to the ever-so-famous Stonehenge, just 15-minutes away. There’s Longleat Safari Park just 20-minutes away (beware of those cheeky monkeys). And there’s Gold Hill at Shaftesbury (remember that famous Hovis advert?) just 15 minutes away.

We love to share personal recommendations, so feel free to ask us when you’re here. We’re a super friendly bunch.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our lovely country pub to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple. Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back. Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 8am daily. If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

Our Bigger Boutique and Family Boutique rooms are equally perfect for families. There’s space for cots for little ones, fold-out beds (for bigger little ones) and some of these have sofa-beds, too. Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

All of our rooms are dog-friendly (apart from the Comfy). Just add your dog to your booking (up to two doggo’s can stay with you for £15 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a super-comfy doggy bed, blanket and tasty tail-wagging treats.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

We’ve got a handful of parking spaces just out the front of the pub but if these are full, there’s plenty of on-street parking nearby.

How do I get to you via public transport?

We’re an 11-minute cab from Tisbury station. You can usually find cabs just outside the station and you’ll be with us in a jiffy.

Booking Bits

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You can make changes to your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. This includes changes to your package, room and extras (as long as it’s available). The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-amendable.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
