Landlady Ellie and her cheerful team are excited to welcome you to The Lamb, a 12th-century coaching inn packed with all the charm and character a country pub needs to leave a lasting impression.

While our village of Hindon may be small, the surrounding area is full of big adventures. A quick 15-minute drive will take you to the iconic Stonehenge, the world-famous heritage site. Head in the opposite direction, and you’ll find yourself at Longleat Zoo, home to the first-ever drive-through safari park outside of Africa (just a heads-up, the monkeys might fancy your wipers).

The Lamb is a beloved local hotspot, where you can enjoy everything from a pint of real ale or a cocktail on our garden terrace, to a hearty three-course dinner in the pub or a delicious Sunday roast made with the best local, seasonal ingredients.

We’re super excited to introduce our dry ager – it’s like a flavour-boosting machine that works wonders on our steaks.  Each and every day, we have a tempting array of steak cuts that have been aged in-house for a minimum of 35 days.
